Many thanks to all to people that sponsored me for 'Go  Sober for October', I am very pleased to announce that I made just over £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Sad loss of Richard Mann

It is with great sadness that we must let everyone know that Richard 'Dickie' Mann passed away on Wednesday 19th July 2017.
As many of you know Dickie was a big part of the club, having been a member from the beginning. He went on the become the club president and was made a life member in 2003 As well as playing crib and whist at the club he played all his football for rustington, playing in goal and later becoming chairman, a post he held for many years and he remained a lifelong 'BLUES' supporter.
Dickie also played all his cricket at rustington becoming well known for his excellent wicket keeping. After finishing his playing days, he began umpiring, bringing his own 'unique' style to the game! He then became their chairman a post he held for over 30 years before retiring last year. Dickie was then made the cricket clubs first life member, which made him especially proud.
Dickie was a very popular and well loved member of rustington sports and social club and involved in everything 'RUSTINGTON'
He will be greatly missed and we are sure everyone will have their own special memories of a truly wonderful 'MANN'
